As part of conceptual design, design development, and construction documents for the community center and multi-purpose community park, Ric Hendricks was instrumental in the coordination, development, and design of the park. Working with the community and various governing agencies, Ric lead the project and was responsible for the overall project coordination, sub-consultant oversight, regulation compliance, and quality control.

The 2-acre community center includes an enclosed seating/dinner area adjacent to the community building, a central courtyard area with a gazebo, and a large lawn for weddings and community events, monument signage, and lighting. Within the community center complex is an aquatic center with a 25-meter competition pool and shallow toddler pool, picnic area with shade structure, and changing/restroom facilities.

The design process included site inventory, data gathering, community engagement, site development, central irrigation system design, specifications, cost estimating, and construction observation.
