This two-acre community and multi-purpose center was guided through conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation under the coordination of Ric Hendricks. Working closely with the community and multiple governing agencies, Ric led overall project coordination, sub-consultant oversight, regulatory compliance, and quality control.
The landscape design included site inventory, data gathering, community engagement, site development, central irrigation design, specifications, cost estimating, and construction observation.
Key site features include an enclosed seating and dining area adjacent to the community building, a central courtyard with a gazebo, and a large lawn for weddings and community events. The complex also incorporates an aquatic center with a 25-meter competition pool, a shallow toddler pool, shaded picnic areas, and changing/restroom facilities. Monument signage and integrated site lighting complete the design, creating a welcoming, functional, and vibrant community destination.
