Having worked with the City of Cotati on several private development project proposals our firm has built a relationship with the Planning and Engineering/Public Works Departments. We submitted the RFP for the landscape architectural services necessary to finalize the federally-funded Old Redwood Highway streetscape and repaving/restriping project that leads from Highway 116 south to the center of Downtown Cotati. The goal was to redesign the entry monuments and landscaping to be a more welcoming and desirable place to walk, sit, and gather, as well as create an identity for the City’s main corridor.
The project was a very collaborative and engaging project for both Mike Cook (while at another firm) and City of Cotati Staff, including the City Manager, Planning Director, and Public Works Director/City Engineer.
